Dedications - back

Dedicated To: Dad
Dedicated By: Theresa Blakely
Age: 73

Our family also has been touch by this horrible disease of cancer. My father a vibrant and life loving man was taken from us so quickly and unexpectedly. My father had what we thought and
were told was a stroke. Two weeks later we were back at the hospital and told that he had suffered another stroke. That Sunday at the end of January 2006 we all had a wonderful day with dad. The next morning dad was rushed to the hospital seizing uncontrollably. The doctoe in ER sedated dad to stop the seizing and this the point at which it was suspected that he had a brain tumor. During the next several days dad underwent CAT scans and MRI's. WE then received the news that we wish we never heard. Dad had a glyoblastoma and they were uncertain how long he would have. Over the next several weeks dad continued to fight believing that he would come home and be with us again. Three weeks after dad was diagnosed he lost his fight with the growth in his brain and passed On Feb24/06. At times I still hear his laugh abd boisterous voice and would love to get a hug and an I LOVE YOU. Dad we love you and miss you terribly. You are my hero.

Love Theresa
