My relationship with Peter Weis was not a lengthy one unfortunately, but he left such a marked impression on me on both a professional and personal level. Peter was a man with a big heart. He had a passion for communicating ideas and he shared his talent in this area with ease. Creativity with words was his forte; he could craft words for any topic, any theme, for any milieu. Peter was exceptionally generous with his time, and he gave to friends, colleagues and family alike; it was part of that rich fabric of
living.

As passionate a fly fisherman as he was a committed educator for design and creative copy, he gave whatever he was doing his utmost. Peter passed away from a rare form of cancer at the beginning of 2005. He was a man of
infinite grace and patience.

It goes without saying how much he is missed by his family and friends, I will remember him for all the small details that made him such a true
gentleman.
