Dedicated To: Donna Batten
Dedicated By: Diane Richards
Age: 37

Donna Batten was a daughter, sister, paramedic, scuba diver/rescue diver, photographer and my "you go" girlfriend. She was very pretty with a mane of curly, long chestnut dark hair that would turn the head of every man in the room. She was very shy with a subtle wit and much loved by many. She was an incredibly fussy eater and was known to tote a suitcase of Powerbars on long journeys. She was stricken with a rare form of cancer, mye lae sarcoma and given one year to live. During that time, she battled the beast with courage, strength, determination and never a complaint. She was known to use the phrase "If I live to be a hundred....." and sadly she didn't, but she added to many lives as if she had.
