Just before Christmas in 1999 my friend Julie Kinnear was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphona - Stage 2B. Over the course of the next 12 months, Julie went through 6 months of chemotherapy, 4 weeks of daily radiation, 3 operations, 2 nuclear medicine gallium scans, 4 tattoos for the radiation treatment, numerous ct scans, had bone marrow removed, etc.
Through it all, she maintained her wickedly sharp sense of humour and ability to remain positive.
She has been in remission for over 3 1/2 years and is an inspiration to everyone who knows her.
