Colleen was 18 years old when she was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in 1977. The chemo and radiation therapy resulted in the loss of her hair, long before being a'bald'18 year old could be considered fashionable. Colleen learned many life lessons and gained enormous strength during that year, something that she has carried with her and shared with others over the next 30 years of her life. Treatment and survival rates have improved dramatically since that time, in part as a result of people like us who support, who donate, who volunteer, and who ride for awareness - Thank you!
