Gerlad Flemming died in January of 2004 with lung cancer at the wonderful age of 91. His life long love of working outdoors - chopping wood, doing construction work with his son and picking wild blueberries kept him active and fit until the very end of his life. Many in our family believe he would have lived many more years if it weren't for cancer but are grateful nonetheless he shared such a long life with all of us.
